5.8 is a ridiculous rating.

This movie is a solid 8

Oh baby, baby it's a wild world

I agree
it's a fun and a well made movie
pretty good cinematography, nice music etc.

Everything about this film was near perfect, I gave it a 9.5 out of 10. I don't rate that high ever, I think maybe 10 films I have rated that high in my life time.

Im with hugh all the way in this film and on his side. He plays the serious role pretty good in this.

I turned this on by accident last night and would have to agree. To start with I was pretty impressed for bbc for showing something other than 'just friends', but the film was really interesting, and Hugh Grant was great! I didn't see the beginning so I'm not going to rate it until I've seen that but I would have thought it should be 7-8.3 (although maybe the confusion made it all seem a bit more intense).

Hugh shouldnt tear this film down all the time. He should sing its praises.

Wait a minute... who am I here?

reply

Im watching it right now. I think 5.8 is being a tad generous

Well he has made claims jokingly that only about 10 people worldwide went to see it and talks about how unsuccessful it was. I dont know how much he likes it though, but he seemed to not want to make a thriller again.

You're exaggerating. OK, it's very intense but there are too many unrealistic moments
