Sarah Jessica's Hair
what was up w/her hair? she had it tucked into her shirt or sweater in almost every scene she was in. It was just weird and distracting.

GAWD, am I getting tired of the whole "SJ Parker is UGLY" rant! It's been going on for years, and I guess I just don't get it...
I have a friend who, every time he sees Meryl Streep, goes off on how "fugly" she is...and that pisses me off, too!!
I guess all the beautiful people who post anonymously online should just get together at a "Damn, I'm Gorgeous" convention and admire each other while they trash award-winning actresses....yuck!! Enough, already!!
There, I feel better,

When she has been through makeup for a magazine cover or an ad, she can look quite fetching. However, her normal look is something out of Seabiscuit. I don't know why she had her mane tucked in her shirt.
shareThis conversation is old, so no one will care, but I have to say I agree with you goodbear40... I am not a fan of SJP, but she is hardly ugly! Why do people think all women/celebrities have to be beautiful anyway?! Shame on Sarah for not living up to the expectations of all of the oglers. Women have come a long way, but we have a longer way to go to rid ourselves of being sex objects and trophies....
shareWhether or not a commenter is attractive himself or herself is irrelevant to whether or not the person being commented on is attractive. So the proposed "Damn, I'm Gorgeous" convention idea is a logical fallacy.
shareShe's so homely I can't even look to care.
shareShe's so homely I can't even look to care.I think she's quite attractive, but I agree that her character is made to look quite homely in this film, though I'm not sure why.
I have waist-length hair. I often tuck my hair inside my coat and sometimes sweaters/heavy blouses, especially when it's windy or cold. It's a good way to keep it from flying in your face or getting tangled. I see nothing wrong with doing that, and I know I'm not the only one to do it. After all, you're not walking around as if you're in a fashion show! It's sensible!
There are times for it to be loose, free and flowing. Other times, I want to keep it tamed.
