When they show the flashback scenes how Jaffa was kidnapped they claim he was attending his daughter's wedding. Yet we see what looks like an Eastern Orthodox Christian wedding. Kind of odd that an Islamic terrorist would be there at all. He seems like the kind of guy who would forbid his daughter to marry outside of their faith let Aline actually appear at the wedding to condone it at all.
Anyone else notice that?
I remember it but it never actually struck me at the time. I'm not an expert on religious ceremonial garb but you're right it did seem like a Greek orthodox affair or something similar.
There's a moral to this story Del Boy but for the life of me I can't find it!
I guess Islamic terrorists are cool with Eastern Orthodox weddings. Or the director didn't think anyone would notice.
shareI always wondered the exact same thing and thought I just missed something. I'm actually watching it now on cable. Good movie especially the ending with the assault and Grant struggling with the sleeper.
