Seems kind of incomplete

The ending to this movie seemed kind of incomplete. In the first one, after they win the pee wee champs, Gordon is inspired to play in the minors, in the 2nd, they win the junior goodwill games champs and see them celebrate formally at a campfire then later rewarded scholarships, but in this one, their schools mascot changed from the warriors to the ducks because of their victory, but after that, we just see Gordon knowing Charlie will only ever need him as a friend but not as a coach. After that, they are just being cheered by the crowd at the sight of the new banner showing Eden Hall's new banner, but what happens besides that. I mean, if their first champion win inspires Gordon to play to the minors, and second gets them scholarships, what does the school's new mascot inspire them to do besides showing themselves the true symbol of Eden Hall?
