I actually have a clip from a boston newspaper....it's about a year old that states when tom cruise "Left" Paramount, he signed onto the Board of Directors @ Allied Artists and one of his plans to revitalize the failing company is to do a sequel to the birdcage. I have it in black & white....I'm just wondering if anyone else read this or heard this.

I think often when people in his line of business do interviews, it's a chance for them to air ideas they've had and see if they get a nibble. Chances are we'll never hear of it again. But maybe it'll happen; maybe it's just slow in coming to the boil.
(I've gotta say: given the rumours about him, I find it curious that Tom Cruise, of all people, would be talking about a sequel to "The Birdcage". )
You might very well think that. I couldn't possibly comment.
