How is Shalhoub's Italian?

Obviously, I'm talking about his accent. Any native speakers out there who can comment? Because he's of Lebanese extraction, I was just wondering how well he pulled it off.

I want the doctor to take your picture so I can look at you from inside as well.

He isn't fluent, but he's got a good accent.

He's not Italian it is called acting.

Minnie Driver is not American either. Ian Holm is neither Italian or American.
