Echo Bridge DVD

Echo Bridge has rereleased this on DVD after they acquired a chunk of the Miramax catalogue. I remember the original DVD put out by Disney had a non-anamorphic transfer. IS this new edition anamorphic?

I just got the DVD the other day and it is in fact anamorphic. The soundtrack however, actually sounded better on the Disney disc. Even with surround sound I had to crank it up to hear some dialogue.
