Is there any place any one knows of where a class reunion is held in the winter? About all I'm aware of is when they are held just after the graduation season.

shareYeah, ours was right after thanksgiving too. If you think about it, thats actually pretty smart. Most people are in town visiting family anyway.
shareOld thread but I was wondering the same thing while watching the movie Saturday. I live in the Wash DC metropolitan area . The tradition of the class reunion during May-Sept is a big event up there with the wedding season every place I've lived or went to school. The big dates are usually the 20th, 25th the 30th 40th or 50th anniversary from the original graduation day itself. Not planned around a major family holiday. The events planned around the reunion usually are outdoor family affairs because of the season. Nor would many I know want to take part their Thanksgiving holiday for a class reunion.

Most reunions are in the fall and usually surround the homecoming football game or other game during the season. Some classes have a 5 or 10 year reunion and its conveniently scheduled at Thanksgiving so that classmates who are coming home for Thanksgiving can make it.
