Tracy

Annabeth Gish is an attractive woman, but I didn't think she was all that! Everyone fell in love with her - Willie's dad and brother were drooling over her, and acting the fool. I didn't really get why everyone thought she was so beautiful. Maybe because was a new face in town? I thought Andera was much more impressive.

she's a good solid... 7 and a half

Willie, what is your major malfunction, man? She is deee-lightful!

reply

Because us humans think the grass is greener in the other side but it's generally green right in front of your face.

I think the gushing over her by Willie's father and brother has more to do with the fact that the matriarch of the house is DEAD. The presence of a new woman in the family circle can be exhilarating to men, particularly Willie's family at this point in their lives. For me, it was quite obvious that both dad and brother were still mourning her death in a "suffering in silence" kinda way.

Agreed with Naughty-God. Marty did say, "Your dad's kind of a sad guy. Your brother's missing that thing. That thing that having a mom gives you. It's a lonely house you got"

Solid 7 1/2 and a new women in the family...

She is cute and sweet and fun... and that is all part of the equation... but mostly Willie's dad and brother drool over her because of how desperately they miss the female presence of their late wife/mother. I would bet that, if we could drill into the character's back story, we would learn that Tracy bore an uncanny resemblance to Willie's late mom. That would, of course, help explain why Willie was dating her, but also why his dad and brother were so enamored of her.

I agree. That scene just made me cringe at how bizarre the father and brother were acting towards her. She was ok, but not a head-turner, at least in my own humble opinion. However I do think Annabelle Gish looked absolutely gorgeous in the X-Files.
