When Andera gets mad at Paul for kissing her...

I have always kind of been bothered by her behavior during this scene. I am not sure what exactly she expected him to do or think after how she was acting. I get that in her mind she thought she was helping him out by making some other chick jealous as some sort of twisted favor to him but she was dancing suggestively and "making a scene" to use her words...did she seriously think he would just be like "Okay, thanks" and that would be that? It's not like she really explained to him what she was intending to do.

I like the scene for this reason - it shows how worlds apart the two characters are. In his small, perverted "beautiful girls" world what he did was perfectly reasonable and in her world she never would have thought he would arrive at point, misunderstanding the basic concept of what she was trying to help him with.

I guess she felt he was too forceful. Possibly she overreacted a bit and could have just said "HEY!" and then stayed at the bar after he apologized. But, she already had a boyfriend, wasn't interested in Paul, and it seems he misled her about the evening. When they first sit down, she says, "Where are your buddies?" and he says, "They're going to be a little bit late." So obviously she was led to believe it would be a group thing where she'd be hanging out with all the guys, not just with Paul.
