what was the "most wonderful news"?
I assumed that one of the dogs was pregnant (again), lol

Actually, I think Anita was telling Roger that she was expecting another baby. Nanny said, "And speaking of children (not puppies)..." right before that. Plus, with all the dogs they had at this point, I don't think that another dog pregnancy would have been such big news.
