Hugh Laurie!!!

I am a recently turned obssessive fan of House, and it is now my life's mission to rent this movie just to see Laurie with his original British accent, and an uncharacteristically dim-wiited character role.

Will/Has anyone take(n) up my quest?!?

I watched this last night on an old movie channel. Didn't even know he was in it and I own it. I also own the House DVD set. =)

Haha, yeah i saw it on TV right now, and I was like omg that's Hugh Laurie!

Heh, being a die hard Blackadder fan, the whole reason I saw this film was because I noticed Hugh Laurie and Tim McInnerny were in it. Tim got a bigger part in the second film. Hugh Laurie has to be one of my favorite actors along with Rowan Attkinson and Tim McInnerny.
I'm glad I saw it actually, it was pretty good.

Right on the heels of Glenn Close, Hugh Laurie was the second best thing in this movie.

totally and completely guilty about watching House then looking for more of Hugh Laurie. I was actually shocked about how many movies I'd seen (some of which I own) and never realized that Hugh was in. Shocking isn't it when you find an actor you like. I just recently got to watch a Bit of Fry and Laurie and I just about laughed my head off. He's a wonderful comedic actor :)

I also had no idea he was in this until watching a bunch of episodes of House, but I did, after watching all 4 (at the time) Harry Potter films that were out, realize that Mr. Weasley was Horace =3 lol

If you want to see Hugh on TV using his British accent, I highly recommend watching the episode of Friends where Ross is about to get married in England and Rachel, realizing she still has feelings for him, flies to England on a whim and gets seated next to Hugh Laurie =3 I freaked out when my sister showed me this, as the episode was filmed 10 years ago - and he seemed to be playing House at that time, as well, since he was kind of rude to Rachel =3 It was awesome lol Check it out on YouTube if you haven't seen it or don't remember it =3

This movie was on tv today, so I watched it, being on the lookout for Laurie. That's not his original accent, though. He is English, but his accent is a different English accent, a more upper class one than the one he uses in this movie.

What is your quest? But watch it, but if you don't like movies that use words like idiot and moron used, then you might not like this. But if you like Hugh Laurie, you should also checked Stuart Little and Stuart Little 2 as well. Now you might not regonize him, since he looks different in the movie, but there are some good performances in the movie, just wait and see how nasty Glenn Close is as Cruella De Vil.
