Dull and uninspiring

Yes from the opening credits this show is just as the title of my post suggests. I've been forcing myself to watch it with my flatmate but alas its rubbish. The music at the start has that "this show thinks its great" feel to it. Then there's the wishy washy sentimental slow motion flash backs, spoon feeding the viewer with "ooh that's what happened". Then they chuck in a shot of a body on a slab, as they attend to their dead wounds, dull dull who cares, wow what great make up etc, zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

In a nut sheill its expensive stylish crud of the highest order, its demand your licence fee back television, I can't wait to not watch it again.

The British CSI or is CSI the American Silent Witness? Either way aaaarrrrrgggghhhhhh.

Why don't you watch something else then?
You can have 2 TVs per house you know!

I think the point of IMDB message boards is to post comments, views, opinions.

I'm a fan and think its a great programme but would prefer if it was set in some historical period. Victorian forensic science is interesting, what with Jack the Ripper etc. So perhaps set in the late 1800s - more velvet and gaslamps.
Also like to see more football in this.

I don't watch it anymore. I preferred it when Amanda was in it. But as far as I know, CSI is sort of the American version of SW, except that it's probably slightly more gorey & scientific - if that makes sense...

Oddly enough the CSI's and other fictional trips to the morgue made in the U.S.A. are not as sick as the British ones so often are. (Means Silent Witness is as sick as they come..) Perhaps reality morgue shows will be coming next. Very cheap to make. You don't even have to give the corpses prizes or anything. And you can get them to pose easily. (Perfect for the creeps who run British and American TV.) (june of joejune)
