I enjoy both series. I think they are very similar. SW is more subtle and less dramatic than its American counterpart though. It makes me feel sick to see them cut organs in the autopsy room!!

IMO (living in Canada) Silent Witness with Amanda Burton is far superior to any American creation.

SW is ultimate. Especialy the originals. CSI and most other American shows like that are too flashy and over dramaric. My only excption would be "The Closer".
