Silent Witness versus The Commander
Has anyone seen The Commander by Lynda LaPlante with Amanda Burton?
I love Silent Witness and have seen most of the series with Amanda Burton and I was wondering if The Commander is good too.
I have seen the Commander (Amanda Burton fan) but I can't say it's as good as the (early) Silent Witness series. They're about a female commander in the British police, very powerfull, but she makes very big mistakes at times. The series is interesting, but not realistic (if a real commander would sleep with a convicted murderer she wouldn't keep the job that long, would she?)
I just like the character Sam Ryan a lot more :) Too bad that Amanda Burton stepped out of Silent Witness :(
I've seen The Commander,since I'm a big fan of Amanda Burton. And it' very good, I liked Sam better before, but Clare (the character in The Commander) has changed since the first series, so I like Clare a bit better now. But miss Sam in SW, I've stopped watching it, cos I don't think Silent Witness is totally the same anymore.
