Does anyone know if any of the more recent series of Silent Witness are available on DVD?? I know that seasons 3, 4 and 5 are available at Amazon but does anyone know if later seasons can be bought anywhere?? I know some websites have copies of tv series on DVD that are cheaper (but they only have the episodes, no episode names, special features etc).

I can't understand why I can't buy all the series on dvd in the UK.
A similar show,WAKING THE DEAD is available but SILENT WITNESS is not.

You can buy Silent Witness on DVD on Amazon.co.uk. They have series 1-9, I´m waiting for Series 10 to come out.
Yes but they seem to be Dutch imports.
I think only the first 4 series (AMANDA BURTON)are available so I guess we will have to wait for them to come out in order?
Perhaps the question we should be asking is why was the BBC so slow to issue the early series?
What I want to know is why Netflix doesn't have any of it . . . anyone know anything about that?
shareDon't let the fact that the latter series have dutch subtitles. I have got many of those DVDs through an Amazon UK reseller in Holland. They are VERY good and the subtitles are easily removed via your players remote control.

Watching series 10 on DVD now , the order arrived the other day ( within the week ) ... it's worth it if you want to get your hands on the DVDs.
Can't understand why they aren't released in the UK ... it's the same show ... great BBC production ... the only difference is the subtitles which I said can be easily removed
Great!! I will definitely be ordering Silent Witness from that place. I have downloaded lots of episodes but I can't seem to find any season 8, 9 or 10 episodes ANYWHERE to download. I think I've got all of season 12 and 13 and some of season 11 but that is it.
shareAt least many of you get to see it. In the US, Only the 1st few seasons with Amanda Burton were broadcast and then BBC America showed the one season where se left the series. I thought it was an excellent series and regret that all we can get here is videos several years after broadcast.
I'm all for speeding up the availability.

As mentioned in previous messages this DVD comes with the Dutch sub-titles ... don't let that put you off... esp if you really want to get hold of the series???
