In the episodes "Undertone" (24-25 January 2014), the name used for the residential units where the pregnant girl lived and died is "Marbatan Estates," I think, but this appears to be a fictitious name. I've seen this striking piece of concrete/brutalist architecture in other TV shows. Can someone tell me the real name and location of this complex of residential units? Thanks!

shareI haven't actually seen the Alexandra Road Estate in person, but it appears in many films. It really is an amazing piece of architecture.
I don't know whether this Estate is considered to be a 'good area': in fact, I get the impression that it may not be very desirable. That's a shame, as for once the problems don't seem to have been caused by poor, unimaginative architecture. I'd happily live there, based on what I've seen.
