This "Silent Witness" story is particularly rubbish.
I revise my opinion of this story after watching part 2 - that was really, really bad.

I watched the whole thing increasingly convinced that I'd seen this story before. Something stronger than the occasional deja vu.
Of course I can't have. But was the plot lifted wholesale from somewhere else?
Season 12 Episode 05 & 06 - Terror. Substitute Muslims for Poles and there you have it. Slightly different around the edges but very similar indeed otherwise.

Yes, it seems some episodes are similar to previous ones.
After 19 seasons, it looks like they've run out of ideas.
There's only so many variations of anything, they've done every possible story, what else can they cover?
Replace belief with knowledge.
