"You ate the steak..." (10-27)

Once again, Judge Judy comes up with the 'You ate the steak' theory on the couple who stayed in the apartment but didn't pay rent (and wouldn't leave when evicted).

Now I'm not saying that they were correct. BUT from now on, I wish litigants would respond "I did it the Trump American way"..Trump says it's perfectly OK to eat the whole steak, and decide not to pay for it if you don't like it after you ate it. The courts seem to agree with him, as he stiffed thousands of workers who did work for him.

Or they could reply with "At this point, what difference does it make?".

I am waiting for a vegetarian to be a litigant, or maybe a Hindu. That should make it interesting when she inevitably brings out this Judge Judy classic.

Next time she says "You ate the steak.." I would love for them to reply:

"No, it's more like I built a hotel and casino....and never paid the contractors because I wasn't happy with the end result. I have that option since it's America."
