What's up with Judy's eye on these newer episodes? Have u all noticed?

For the last few weeks of episodes, Judge Judy's eye on her right side looks really off. I can't imagine I'm the only one who has noticed this because it looks pretty cringe-worthy. But am I the only one who has noticed this? Has she had some kind of plastic surgery on her face recently so as to look younger? Whatever it is, it looks terrible and makes her right look really awkward a lot during the case.

I noticed it, too, Tat, but I was reluctant to bring it up.

I'm guessing plastic surgery. A lot of people who have it look cross-eyed. Think Joan Rivers: She had so much work done, it appeared that she couldn't look over her own cheek bones. (Implants?)

It seems people would rather look deformed, than to have a wrinkle in their face.

I saw some clips of Connie Francis (Google, if you don't know her) done in the last few years, and the only thing on her face that moves is her bottom lip!

Looking like a freak is better than having a few wrinkles ???

I don't get it. ๎—

I've noticed that eye too and it's scary. I think she's finally mastered the "evil eye". Or it's plastic surgery gone wrong. Now I can't help watching for it.

It's her right eye... It bulges with certain expressions and looks crossed. Very obvious to me.

She looks like Carol Burnett doing a parody of JJ ! ๐Ÿ˜จ

Gubbio is hitting the nail on the head with her cracks about Judy's new eye abnormality. That Carol Burnett crack got me on the floor kicking and screaming.

I watched both episodes today (11-23) and kept watching, didn't notice anything unusual. They both looked OK to me. And I watch in HD, so it should be noticeable. Oh well...

I haven't noticed it either, Pvd. I'm also watching in HD.

Actually, I noticed a long time ago that her eye (or eyes) were popping like a Carol Burnett caricature, but it's recently gotten more pronounced. ๐Ÿ‘€ ๐Ÿ‘€

Especially since Carol is no stranger to plastic surgery herself. Her entire face has changed, and her lips have been enhanced.

The Judge Judy eye-thing shows most evidently when she looks down. It's almost as if the far right corner has been pulled a little too tightly. Considering the's 74 years old (as she never fails to remind us), it's obvious she's had worked done.

reply

Wow Pvd, i am surprised you hadnt noticed this. You are usually so observent with this program and are the first to notice *beep* And this is pretty glaring lmfao like gubbio said though. It does come and go with certain expressions so that may be how you missed it

reply

Yea I agree with you guys. Its an evil eye looking thing that looks like the result of a bad surgical operation. What the hell was wrong with her face she needed to be screwing around her eye. Judy looks like any other person her age. Whats her deal. The character she portrays on her court show would denounce something like plastic surgery and call someone an idiot for getting it wrong, that they ate the steak and have to live with it too.

reply

Yes, I can see it with certain camera angles and when she tilts her head to the left. The eye lift on her right eye is extreme. Also, noticed the skin under her chin when she was speaking to a child that she asked to come sit next to the bench. That camera was not her friend.

reply

LMFAO!!! Yessssss, that's it. The eye lift looks freaky extreme. Can you give User PVD the episode you watched. He still hasn't noticed.

reply

Oh, I'm not sure in which episodes I've seen it. I think it is easier to spot when she faces the plaintiff. I listen more than watch the episode, but even then glancing at the screen I have seen that the outside corner is so high that part of the iris disappears.

reply

LMFAO!!! Yea, I am having the same problem that I have seen it quite a bit but can't point on episodes in specific. I too listen more than a watch. Actually have my eyes closed as I am watching, trying to guess what the litigants look like then seeing if I am right at the end of the case at which point I open up my eyes. Lol!!! But yea, you're right at how the iris disappears. Judy's going to f herself up if she continues in this direction!

Yes, I remember in the late 70s (after her show went off the air) she had gone in for plastic surgery (or 'corrective surgery') to have her jaw realigned, as well as her chin. It changed the whole look of her face - and she went public with the story.

I remember that, too, but she's had loads of work done since then. I'm pretty sure Bea Arthur had work done before The Golden Girls, because her face looked amazingly smooth--much better than it did on Maude.

reply

Bea Arthur actually had her first facelift during the run of Maude, and a script was actually written around it. They filmed the first part of the story before the surgery, and Maude then did a down-the-stairway grand-entrance reveal after the surgery near the end of the episode.

reply

I was wondered why Bea look so sexy on Golden Girls when she was intended to be old. I should have figured it was work. Damn! I thought she was just aging gracefully. I suppose the tip off should have been how ratchet her face got in around the 90s. That's usually how it works with plastic surgery. Looks nice for a little while then goes all to hell in the worst way.

Omg I noticed this today!!! I thought maybe I was seeing things lol

Hahahaha! I really hope Judy hasn't done permanent damage on her face. I haven't watched today's episode, but I am going to be looking out for it. Getting ready to watch now.
