Wow, the plaintiff in the second case on the 2/8 episode was freaking drop dead gorgeous with a great body! He was the guy suing the salon for dripping paraffin on his $300 jeans during a mani/pedi. Somehow, the defendant ended up with the plaintiff's jeans *hmmm* wonder how that happened?!? Anyway, JJ was not impressed with the spot on the jeans and simply returned them to the plaintiff. I wasn't convinced the spot on the jeans was paraffin ahem but who's to say!

Can I ask a question? Who spends $300 on a pair of jeans? I mean...other than the plaintiff.
Goes back to the time I was shopping in Toronto, ON, Canada.
I was at a store (Holt Renfrew?), and I saw a sweater that caught my eye. I had a look to see what size it was. It was either L or XL, so that was fine. Then...I had a look at the price.
IIRC, it was something like $250 or $300.
Pass. I like the sweater....but not for that amount of money.

You would not believe what young men and women (and older men and women) spend on clothing these days. They have to have the newest look which they see on the celebrities and will pay anything for it - so a young man like him spending $300 on jeans does not surprise me. You can tell he was into his looks (he was a handsome guy) as he gets medi/pedis (not cheap) and he knew what 'waxing' was - so I'm sure he gets his body waxed for the 'smooth' look from neck to toes, back and front - again, not inexpensive.
Then again, I bet he can't pay his rent or make car payments...but that's another story.

LOL, jokerswilde! I'm with you there! I went to Bloomingdales in Chicago years ago and tried on a coat, and my friend and I were shocked when we saw the coat was on sale for $1500! It wasn't even that nice of a coat! When the associate came over and asked if she could help us, I said "yes, can you help me understand why anyone would pay $1500 for this coat?" She just laughed. I wouldn't pay that much for a coat even if money were no object.
