Judy doesn't know what a traveling nurse is ? 1/30

This woman is so out of touch with reality. Geez, Judy traveling nurses have been around for decades, I knew one from Toronto who lived here in LA for several months and than they move on to a new location.

It's great for single nurses and let's them move around the country and even the world.

I guess when you get rushed from your Hollywood studio due to gas with a police escort to Cedars Sinai(bypassing two very good hospitals much closer to the studio), you wouldn't know about things like traveling nurses, layoffs, or what it costs to move....LOL.

Let's just say I'm surprised she knows what Facebook is! 

I was shocked when she asked what it was - is she really still living in the 1940s?

She probably wanted to ask her how many leeches she uses for blooding.

JJ once ruled against a guy because he left his laptop plugged in.

I'm not joking.

She said he shouldn't have left his computer plugged in, because if he hadn't, a fire wouldn't have started. Yup, clearly, the guy's at fault for a faulty battery/bad chord.

Seriously, JJ? Does she, or anyone on her staff, never charge a cell phone, a tablet, or their own laptops? (provided she has any of those and knows how to use them)? Does she unplug all her lamps, appliances, or well, anything, with an electrical chord and plug that usually stays plugged in to avoid being liable for a fire that might occur because of faulty wiring or electrical design?

Granted, the guy probably should have been suing the manufacturer and not the defendant in that case, but that "reasoning" of hers was idiotic. I really wish the guy had said something like "Do you unplug your refrigerator every day when you leave the house?"

I think JJ simply didn't hear the plaintiff. The plaintiff didn't say "I'm a traveling nurse," she said "I'm a travel nurse." And then JJ said something like "What's a traveler?"

When you say "travel nurse" quickly, and drop your voice on the "nurse" part, like the plaintiff did, it does sound somewhat like "traveler."

OMG, hoosiersfan, it does. And she's always saying her hearing isn't great.

I had a traveling nurse when I had my second baby. It was a little awkward when they had shift change when I was pushing and her and my ob shook hands between my legs. I think she met my vagina before me.
She was older and told me later her husband was retired and they had six kids that all lived in different parts of the country. So every 13 weeks she would be sent to a hospital close to where one of their kids lived and her husband would come with her and that's how they were able to see their kids and grandkids so much. I thought it was a great idea.
