The Journal, the scene where Arnold is born

Call me a girl all you want but the scene when the volcano stops just as Arnold is born and we see Eduardo, Stella and Miles in the Green Eyes temple looking at Baby Arnold brought a tear to my eye. The music in the background didn't help either. lol. It is truly the most beautiful, poignant scene of the entire series (well, maybe Pigeon Man is) and excuse me if I am human and can show emotion. I just remember watching it the night it originally aired when I was in 8th grade. Seriously Nickelodeon, what the hell happened to you? Thank you Craig Bartlett for creating this show and writing that episode. I really hope that The Jungle Movie happens and us Arnold fans can finally have closure!

And not to nitpick but A.) the volcano wouldn't just suddenly erupt like that, and B.) poor Stella, pushing out a baby with a football shaped head, with no epidural.

More beautiful then the ending of Arnold's Christmas? Otherwise I agree. I really think Craig Bartlett should just release the script online, assuming there's no copyright issues of course.

Oh yes both scenes are equally tear jerking. I love how Helga gave up those boots just to help Arnold and gave that little speech to Mr. Bailey. "Look into your heart, now we have a choice here. Either you and I work all night to find a certain lost daughter, or you can leave now. But if you leave now, that little football headed kid will never believe in miracles again." I can only imagine them knocking on Mai's door at like 6 in the morning and she's all sleepy eyed like "who the hell are you guys?", lol. Arnold and Helga are truly meant for each other and I wish he knew that it was her who was his Christmas angel.

I just watched the Christmas episode it was said I hated to see Helga give up those boots. I was hoping the guy would have a heart and give them back....Mr. scrooge kept them.

Funny, I just wondered about that this morning, if Bailey felt guilty taking the boots just to find Mai. If I was him, I would've let Helga keep them.

I like to think that he was touched by her words and let her keep them.

Just a guess here but I'm betting you wouldn't have refused to help Arnold just because he failed to get a pair of snowboots. Heck, you probably wouldn't have demanded he do your Christmas shopping in exchange for help. Bailey was a grumpy old jerk. Most people would love to play a part in reuniting a father with his long lost child, especially at Christmas.

Agreed. They're both each other's guardian angels. They look out for each other.
