why so many different Hey Arnold actor voices

It's weird I never noticed as a kid. But it's strange rewatching it now, you can really tell.. season 5 Arnold is a bit annoying compared to the rest.

I remember when HA! first came out and they would somewhat make a big deal about how actually kids voiced the kids so it doesn't surprise me that they eventually had to be replaced. I REALLY don't like Arnold's final voice actor, though. 😕

I would always rather be happy than dignified. 

Most likely their voices changed.

Toran Caudell b. '82 Did voice from (1996-2001). He was 18 or 19 when he stopped.

Phillip Van Dyke b.'84 Did voice (1997-2000). He was 16 or 17 when he stopped.

Spencer Klein b. '86 Did voice (1999-2004). He was 17 maybe 18 when he stopped

Alex D. Linz) b.'89. Only did 2 episodes when show was cancelled.

The only time I had ever noticed a change in Arnold's voice was the last voice actor they used his voice was noticeably higher so I guess it's fair to say they were consistent whenever they had to recast for the most part anyway. I would have to say going over who was who and when they played them I feel like I favor Phillip Van Dyke most just as the voice of Arnold. I say this just because I feel like that is the one I remember most and associate with the character.

Puberty. That's why you usually get women to voice little boys and not... little boys. Then you don't have to keep replacing them.

I couldn't stand Arnold's first voice actor. I don't know if it was the weird audio or what but his voice was WAAAAY too soft and I could barely understand what he was saying unless he shouted.

I find it so incredible that Arnold had 4 voice actors, while Gerald only had two.

"Arnold, my love, why must I worship you...and NEVER EVER tell?" 
