shareEvery time I ever tried to watch "Everybody Loves Raymond", it was all about this shrew verbally and emotionally punishing her cowering husband. In real life he would have dumped her long ago.
In "The King of Queens", the wife is sometimes nice. She is also funny, and only pissed off some of the time. In "Everybody Loves Raymond", the wife is rarely nice, is not funny, and is pissed off almost all the time.
Also, the wife in "The King of Queens" is eye candy (except for a couple of fat seasons), and the wife in "Everybody Loves Raymond" is not.
Yes i agree it is horrible to watch. It is like real horror but it is on in daytime.

3 I would say that in this field, it is ALWAYS a 50/50 responsibility. Even if he was a disaster and she was a champion, a couple acts as a single entity, so blaming just the other one is wrong.

Another show Mad About You has an even bitchier wife especially in the later seasons.
It is stupid and it brainwash men to think this is normal. I know a man who has a wife and if he read a book she say 'oh you read this book so you do not have to talk to me'
But this man just want to read his goblin book in peace
So you see what type of thing this has brainwash men to accept. As soon as women ever start nag men about pointless stuff they should have to go outside till they have calm down
Maybe wasn't a book at all, maybe was a furry graphic novel, and your friend lie to you.
