Overdubbed line??

At about 47:30 (in the hotel room), Tommy is talking to Michelle on the phone, and says "I feel my first sale coming on real soon." His voice completely changes for that line, and sounds like someone trying to do a bad impression of him.

I wonder if he said something that they decided to edit, or if it was just muffled, and they re-dubbed it later....

it was probably because he said something that made it sound like he already made a sale in the movie. But, since he didnt, and referenced it anyway... they had to change the line in editing. Happens a lot.

Oh, wait.. yes, if that's the line the poster is referring to, then Sledgehammer is right. He didn't have to d*ck it up though.
