1.) During the opening fight, Sagat's eye turns green. What was up with that?
2.) On the Japanese version, the scene with Sagat / Bison is extended a bit. Bison leaves the room with Balrog following him, leaving Sagat all alone in the room thinking about what his next move might be. Any idea why it was snipped from the US / UK versions?
1) Never noticed that.
2) Pacing. We Americans like our movies to get right to the point with not much filler.

shareHis eyes turned green because he was filled with rage and was about to go nutz on Ryu. Plus, he was drawing in Ki from all around him and the green eye glow makes him look more evil.
Sagat was thinking about betraying Bison and taking over Shadowlaw. This was skipped because it had no direct correlation to the main storyline.
Sagat should of throw a tiger shot behind Bison's back. "TIGER!!"
