He tortures small animals for fun when not playing with his assigned assassination targets. He's also an ass hole in the V series. I hate bullfighters. I won't give them the respect of calling them "matadores".
Amazing, a villain who turns out to be complete a--hole. Shocking.
Nowadays, I think villains are so watered-down and are written as the try-trued "anti-hero," which was novelty a decade ago is getting kind of stale now.
I like villains who are "all-out" villains with no-redeeming qualities, since they often don't in real-life. They simply cause destruction and malice without regards to life.
I much rather watch a film about thorough villain than an anti-hero.
The thing is, though, a lot of people love to torture (non-human) animals for fun, and whenever someone shows disgust at it, other people are like, "You're such a pussy! You care more about animals than you do about people! You wouldn't care if he/she/they skinned human beings alive." It's like they think I'm not only a hypocrite but a complete psychopath with no regard for human life. Meanwhile, they sympathize with Vega because they share a passion for torturing rabbits, sometimes in the name of "medical progress". And they think I'm the psycho.

You are right, people are kind of hypocritical and deluded. Though, I agree with you, if anyone tortures another human being or any animal, extensively, is in fact, clinically a psychopath. Vega is a trained assassin, a murderer, probably a rapist, and torturer.

He probably rapes rabbits too. Good god, Vega might be even more evil than M Bison (who actually goes by Vega in Japan while Vega here goes by Balrog in Japan).
I think Capcom would have won that lawsuit. I believe parodies are protected under the First Amendment, which is probably why Coolio didn't sue Weird Al over Amish Paradise, and I think it's been that way for at least 30 years. So they thought Vega sounded like a weak name for an overlord? I thought it was because Vega sounded more Spanish or because Capcom wanted to keep all four names of the bosses so they rotated three of them? I wonder what would have happened if Sagat resembled the dad from Full House... Or what if Danny Tanner went bald and lost an eye at one point? Sorry, I can't help overthinking this.
