Well that explains it

I find this movie, and the mess it is, somewhat fascinating. I'm copying a reply to a youtube reivew that has some info and explains a bit why this movie seems so incomprehensible.

Honestly, I was a huge fan of Lorissa McComas as a teen and saw this on VHS a year after it came out. Part of why the movie seems so stilted and the editing is off is that the production team ran out of money and the project was shelved for 2 years. Originally it was simply going to be a slasher flick with an orgy scene before the violence started and Kim Kimmont was going to be the lone survivor in a sort of Friday The 13th style scenario. Most of the main actors were brought in later to finalize the film as they couldn’t get the original people back, so they put all the shot footage of the murder scenes in as a flashback and turned it into more of a retro-80s soft core flick with some suspenseful moments.
