Would Sil lose her desperate drive/instincts to mate (at least for a while) if it were past her time of fertility for the month?

What makes you think she wasn't fertile all the time?

There is the scene where they find her menstrual blood, meaning she must have a similar fertility cycle to humans

More like her time of the hour. Her reproductive cycle was in overdrive. She reached puberty overnight, fully mature in matter of days. Her pregnancy lasted maybe an hour.

I would guess her menstrual cycle didn't take a month but a few times a day.

It would have been interesting as someone suggested in another post if Sil conceived like an army of aliens, maybe by birthing several eggs/pods.
