shareMe! :D I even read the novelisation and thought it was great! Ah, the innocence of youth...
When darkness overcomes the heart, Lil' Slugger appears...
OMG you had the novelization too? I thought I was the only one who bothered to read the paperback books for movies! Back when most movies were cool, I loved to read the novels based on them. Sadly, nowadays the novels based on movies are not that great, and even most books that are made into movies aren't so hot either. As for being little at the time, well I wasn't exactly little, I was over 21 when the movie was released. But I did feel young at least!

I think I watched the movie when I was about 7 or 8, probably caught it on HBO. Good times...
shareNo, don't worry, you are not the only one who reads the novelisations =) Heck, I used to think the one for Mars Attacks was the BEST NOVEL EVER. I was pretty young, as you can probably guess.
Yeah, most of the novelisations these days are just quick cash-ins, but then, they always were and my taste has probably changed rather than the books' quality. Having said that, the one for Spiderman was awesome, as was the one for Revenge of the Sith. That one almost made the story good! (no mean feat)

I watched this last night and thought it was awesome.
shareSame here, Orest. I watch it now and it's still awesome. Natasha Henstridge is a goddess...
Let a little insanity into your life.
Here's a couple of novels adapted from screenplays that were never produced (because financing couldn't be found but the novels could be written with no one's help!). One available now (see below links), the other available later this month.

Saw it on the sci fi channel when I was a kid, thought it kicked ass
Limit of the Willing Suspension of Disbelief: directly proportional to it's awesomeness.
I did, I had a huge crush on Natasha Henstridge and marvelled at her lovely breasteses. I never cared much for the story, I still don't.
sharesaw it when it first came out, loved it. Also had a crush on the women in the movie to lol.
shareyeah i was born in 85 so i was like 10 or 11 when this came out and i saw this movie in the theater, i had a friend whose parents were cool and they took us to see this, my mom didnt mind me watching horror movies but didnt want me to see it cause the nudity so i told her i was going to see the power rangers movie which was in theaters around the same time. after we got back from the theater my friend was gonna stay the night at my house and he inadvertantly mentioned we went to see species instead of power rangers and i got busted, loved the movie ever since
