Does anyone know of any fictional books out there that are similar to the The Prophecy, Constantine or Legion movies? I see all kinds of Teen Romance books with Angels and the Maximum Ride series type, but I'm not interested in that at all. I want some edgy and serious type books with the Heaven and Hell battles with Angels and Demons doing battle with humans involved. Any ideas?

That's just what I was thinking too, now a days you find too many lovey dovey teen books with angels. I'd love to know as well ...

Um Good Omens i think, Also paradise lost is brilliant.

Loved Good Omens, though I don't think that is what the OP was looking for.

Try "to Reign in Hell" by Stephen Brust, "mission" by Patrick Tilly, and while not in the same vein, Behold the Man, by Michael Moorecock
