i never thought he was just a little weird, course i was 10 when i first saw this flick so i dident really catch those kinda things, anyway flash forward 15 years i watch it again on netflix i look it up on here and notice allot of posts ask or assume simon was a perv and now i still don't think he is though he was showing signs aside from the lap sitting and soul "placing" he wasn't that good with other mature beings

Time changes, people changes, that's just how it works. Even back in '95 it wasn't all that "weird" as it is today.

I think it was just the way he is, or all of the Angels for that matter. They were full of love. Like Gabriel. He was touchy-feely with the kids, too. They were also like that with each other, hence the kissing.
