Whats the significance of that???? i read in wiki that its supposed to bring in the end of the world, can someone please elaborate on that???

The horn is used for the Second Coming Of Christ. When the angels blow their horns, all of the dead will rise and await Judgement. It's pretty awesome how the movie included this.
