when simon throws the other angel out of the window, he falls on top of a car and rolls into the alley. then another car hits him and drives him into some wooden thing against the back wall of the alley.
why was that car going so fast? if the angel hadn't fallen there it would've driven straight into the wall at a high speed.

I thought the same thing at the time. Supposedly the falling body distracted him, making him go of course. But going that fast in an alley a bit "huh?".
