Who was creepier?

I haven't seen this movie for years but Christopher Walken is always creepy. However I think that the guy who played the devil did the proper job, Satan is not supposed to be creepy, he is supposed to be seductive. The closest person to Satan that has lived is Adolf Hitler, yet he was very seductive, just ask any Germanic person that was around when he was in power. The evil that lives within is not creepy, evil is seduction. Most mass murderers are not creepy, nor are

Meriam-Webster's Dictionary defines Seductive as "having alluring or tempting qualities." I don't think anyone was saying that Hitler made people want to sleep with him. The reference was clearly to his powers of persuasion, which were pretty damn good when you consider he talked millions of his countrymen into literally baking other human beings, which is pretty creepy. Satisfied?

Here's a site- it's supposedly a psychological evaluation done on Hitler (from a distance, by the OSS) in 1943. Lotta reading, pretty interesting- if you do a little reading between the lines I believe it might be said that women saw him as, if not sexually attractive, at least stimulating.

mm...creepy wise I have to say Viggo. He pegged the part of the Morning Star without a doubt. There were moments in the movie were he just sent a shiver down my spine.

See Gabriel wasn't really creepy, more driven then anything. He had presence on the screen, don't get me wrong, but not the same as Viggo. Plus Chris is playing Gabriel against the grain, as most of us think of gabriel as one of gods angels that works for him, not against him.

Lucifer

Sure, Christopher Walken looks physically creepy looking, but he seemed a whole lot of a good guy in this movie. Being nice to kids, talks polite, all that crap.

Nowhere in the bible or Talmud is Satan cruel, rude, mean or abusive. Just the opposite. His power comes from his ability to convince. Thus how he convinced an army of angels to oppose god.

i thought Viggo was one of the best satan's I've seen...probably the most realistic thing in this movie christianity-wise....the parts where he goes from his normal voice to a lil snake-like hissy voice was very good. Like the lil voices in your head that tempt you to do anything sinful. I was very surpised to see Viggo in this movie and not surprised he did such a good job

ITA...Walken was scary, but Viggo as Lucifer was downright creepy!

It's a draw for me but if I really had to choose, I'd say Viggo was a bit creepier.

The question to ask is who DON'T you want to run into in a dark alley. My answer would be Viggo, hands down...
