I think the soundtrack was great, the best part of the movie. I also always heard the movie was bad, but when I finally saw I was pleasantly surprised. It was the opposite with The Lion King, which is always hailed as Disney's best, but doesn't appeal me at all. Mulan had potential, but the animation was ugly and the soundtrack just awful (except for Honor to Us All). The Beauty and the Beast is one of my favourite movies, no comparison to that one.
