...with the same actresses that played the kids. Just reshoot all the scenes. Lol.

Unfortunately Ashleigh Aston Moore died...so she can't reprise the role.

I was watching this movie recently and decided to see what the child actresses were up to nowadays. I didn't know Ashleigh passed away in 2007 from pneumonia. It can kill so suddenly and without any warning.

I wouldn't want them to film the now scenes again. Demi Moore's character was a chain-smoker. I'm sure the studio would demand that they not film it and have her character rewritten which would require the script to me modified, especially if it's marketed for children.

It's fine the way it is, even if I couldn't care less about Rosie O'Donnell.

THAT, would be very interesting! And then re-release it! Re-shoot the now, same script and direction! Great idea. I wonder if this has ever been done before. I would love to see it!
