This movie deserved better!
Its actually quite a well made thriller, IMO. Certainly deserved a 6.5 or more! Whaddaya think?

What reality are you talking about? Certainly not the alternate one portrayed in The Net... The entire premise and especially the technical aspects of the film are markedly awful. This wouldn't be such a problem if it weren't for the fact that these elements are supposed to be an integral part of the plot.
The Net is just a mediocre formulaic chase film that unsucessfully integrates computer elements. I agree with the rating it holds.
I agree with the rating also. All the technology was just a decorative coating for a pseudo-feminist plot. Every major male character ends up dead in this film, and I found it disappointing: I rather like men!
