'Notorious' reference?
I was just watching this movie last night for the first time since probably 1996, There's that scene where Angela and Jack are walking on the beach and she's cold so he ties a handkerchief around her midriff... is that supposed to be a reference to Hitchcock's "Notorious"? There's a scene in "Notorious" where Cary Grant's character (DEVLIN) ties a handkerchief around Ingrid Bergman's character's bare midriff because it's cold outside.
Plus, the characters have the same name. Devlin in "Notorious" and Jack Devlin in "The Net"...
