1999 DVD release?

I just purchased Mallrats on dvd and it is the 1999 release. I noticed at the top it says that it is part of the high school reunion collection. I searched the high school reunion collection and I saw alot of 80s movies like the breakfast club and weird science. When I searched it on several sites Mallrats didn't even come up. I see that most sites list the 1999 release as simply the collectors edition and not the high school reunion collection.

So I have two questions.
1. Is there any difference between the high school reunion and collectors version in the 1999 release other than the heading?
2. Why is a movie from the 90s included in the high school reunion collection with a bunch of 80s movies?

Cause its a teen movie.. the high school collection is just a grouping they all fall under.. nothing extra just a lil marketing at play.

Also, all those movies were released by Universal so the studio lumps them all together. Even though Mallrats has little to do with those movies (haha).

That is my least vulnerable spot.

They're the exact same discs, the High School Reunion one just has the High School Reunion banner on top of the case.
