I haven't, nor have I read A Secret Garden. But I have seen multiple movie adaptions of the classics.

I read both A Little Princess and The Secret Garden. The movie (1993 and 1995)versions are better.

I recall PBS did a version in the 90's under Wonderworks. Is that the one you are referring to? It was good. I saw the Secret Garden on either NBC or CBS in the 90's as well. I really liked it. I really miss TV movies like that. Good grief, now I really feel the gray hair!

I'm talking A Little Princess(1995) and The Secret Garden(1993). Not TV movie.

I'm probably the only person in the world would say this phrase: "Alfonso Cuaron's best movie is A Little Princess."

Because A Little Princess, I'm a big fan of his, I even go to theater to watch Harry Potter 3, not because of I'm a Potter fan, but a Cuaron fan.

I’ve read them both. Even though they have some dark themes I find them both to be cozy reads.
