I first saw this film when I was 15 and it freaked me out. It was scary. I hired it from the video shop when my parents were away and didn't think it would be that depressing. Now I can just watch it and it doesn't bother me, except a few scenes. I think I was dabbing in small quantities of alcohol at the time, unbeknown to myself that I would eventually end up an alcoholic myself. Alcoholics tend to have a lot of alcoholic tendencies long before they pick up their first drink.
shareI was so mad at my boyfriend for talking me into watching this movie. It is horribly depressing and unrealistic. I have to say though, I thought that Precious was the worst saddest movie I have ever seen.

hmmm, this one is right up there. Try watching "They shoot horses don't they?" or "Life is Beautiful".
