Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? (1966)- it's about a lot of things, but alcohol is prominently featured in the movie and I would say that all of the leads at least have problems with alcohol, even if they aren't full blown alcoholics

Probably hundreds where the main character uses. Some films it is not the focus but still a major aspect of the film.
