The Construction site at the beginning.

Not really a goof per say just something I noticed. Alan hears the drums from the game coming from the construction site and walks over to it. Some of the workers are leaving but not one of them stops or says anything to Alan. When he pulls the game out it seemed 2 workers saw him and didn't seem to care. I just rewatched the movie today, and it just seemed unrealistic to me that construction workers would let a 10 year old onto a construction site without saying "you're not supposed to be here" or at the very least "be careful".

I am sorry but I think you need to watch it again. There's a black construction worker who gives him a look of concern just after he gets the game out of the box.

But he's way In the distance to me it looked more like a "what's that kid doing over there?" look but he didn't say anything. Had he said something or started walking closer to Alan that would have been more realistic to me.

But the construction worker didn't give Alan the look until after he had found the game. Alan walked past NUMEROUS adults while following the drum noise. You'd think someone would have turned him away—or at least have said something—before he even had a chance to figure out where the noise was coming from.

They probably knew him as the bosses son. The bosses son has free reign to do what he wants and go where he wants to go.
