Who put the board game in the attic?

After Alan gets sucked into the game, Sarah runs away and the game stays on the table in the living room. Why didn't Sarah just take the cops and Alan's parents to the board game and roll the dice? They would've had proof that she wasn't lying. She should've been begging the cops and Alan's parents to let her roll the dice so they could see for themselves what happens.

Because she was too terrified, she explains this to him in the movie. And I'm sure his father put the game up in the attic with the rest of the games.

She says she was scared but she said, "I told them you got sucked into a board game and they thought I was nuts." At that point, don't you think you would at least try to show them what happens when you roll the dice?

If someone was calling me crazy and I had rock solid proof in front of them, I would show them.

You'd risk getting sucked up into the board game just to show them what happened?

I wouldn't. It would be such a stupid thing to do, all you would prove is that this board game is iffy and you'd end up missing like Alan, god knows where

Well if she did at least both she and Alan would have something entertaining to do in that world eventually. 😀
Green Goblin is great! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t1L4ZuaVvaw

Yes it would have helped if she rolled the dice, I don't think she heard Alan say roll 5 or 8, as the big azz African bats sqeeking and chasing her down the street, WAY down the street, she probably peeped in her skirt as she was running for her life, bats can carry rabies.

Spoiler alert for them spoil sports out there! Y'all like spoiled milk, stop crying over it!

You assume people who think you're crazy would ever let you back into their house.

Let's be bad guys.

I would think there cops wouldn't have believed her, and who has ever heard of somebody even a kid being sucked into a board game. I mean say if you were a police cop and she ran to you for help would you believe her. Plus don't forget that Sarah was scared of the stuff that was coming out of the game. And wanted to get as far away from the board game and not be anywhere near close to it again. And I would have to imagine it had to be one of Alan's parents that put the board game in the attic, I mean it didn't get up there all by itself.

She was scared and no one would have believed her. They'd have thought she was either making it up or mentally insane. And why would she want to get anywhere near the game again, let alone roll the dice? Who knows what terrible things would happen then?

As for who put the game in the attic, I'd imagine it was either Alan's parents or someone who worked at the house.
