This, and "Pieces of April" are the best Thanksgiving films.
I guess I'll cut my losses, and turn my tricks at the magic show..

I watch it every Thanksgiving. I can't help it. It's one of my favorite movies.
"It'll be like they dipped themselves in magic waters."
Watched both this and "Pieces of April" in the days leading up to Thanksgiving. Do it every year!
shareI always watch it the day after Thanksgiving after I have trimmed the tree.... No Black Friday shopping for me! I sit down with some wonderful Thanksgiving leftovers.... The Best the next day, and I enjoy this film because you can always relate to a few of these family members.... if not all.
"Fasten your seatbelts. It's going to be a bumpy night"

"It's just a walk, it's not a marriage proposal."
Just watched it last night! Still a fantastic and funny movie. Will be spending the holiday with family, of course!
The undisputed king of Thanksgiving films will always be Planes, Trains & Automobiles.
I'd say Pieces of April makes the top 5 cut, joined by Hannah and Her Sisters, Scent of a Woman and The Ice Storm.
Home for the Holidays gets an honorable mention.
