You see how she's conflicted on stage when she see's Taryn and her boyfriend. Wonder if she would have still been going in between both of them or jumped bail on both and found herself someone else.

She also needed to feel close to someone at that point in her life to offer her some tenderness. She found that in Taryn. Then she found it in her boyfriend who was nearly a girl himself.
She will continue to be fascinated by Taryn who is a strong female but she will forsake that for a weaker male.
Ultimately, she will eschew them both for a strong but sensitive male who will supply her with the protection, the pedestal and the peace of mind she seeks.

Hahaha! Seriously? I don't know about that. But I highly doubt she was straight. She's being sexual with both men and women, and appears to be attracted to both, that clearly screams BISEXUAL. Although I would like to see a version of these type of characters with the genders reversed. A guy "experimenting" would be an interesting thing to see. Since it happens in real life. :-/
I can see many people that age experimenting and/or indulging in a fantasy. Male and female. They have a greater world view at that age without any of the responsibility or discipline. Just because a person engages sexually with the same sex doesn;t make them bisexual. Just sexual. No problem with exploration.
I agree it probably would have made a better show to have a male experimenting instead of Kristen. It would have also been interesting to have him be the rape victim.
And protect his purse from Omar in the elevator.
