The most hilarious moments to me as a white man
People have already discussed that the film is outdated, cliche', etc.
But I'm getting the most kick out of the police being ultra-nice to people just because they're white.
I'm thinking, "when the F-CK did this bullsh-- ever happen?"
As a white man police have requested my i.d. literally for just walking around at least ten times in the last ten years-- in North Carolina, Missouri and especially California.
When I was in a small town in Missouri ten years ago waiting an hour for a train to come I just sat in my SUV and read a book. A pig knocked on my window and asked multiple questions to me for more than ten minutes. I can't even begin to tell you how f--ing creepy that experience was for me-- the Orwellian "1984" right in my face.
But it was just the start of this intrusion into my rights and privacy. A few months ago the f--ng pigs pulled to the side at 7 IN THE MORNING ON A SUNDAY, demanded that I stopped when I just waved at them ("yeah, gotcha-- no traffic"), they searched me then asked me questions for several minutes while yelling, "KEEP YOUR HANDS OUT OF YOUR POCKETS."
Sometimes when they approach me they finger their tasers and/or pistols. So I must say that this isn't just bulls--t to me-- it's actually p--ng me off.
If they saw a dude who just fired a rifle at a crowd-- be he yellow, white, black, purple-- and he was reaching into a bag they wouldn't just stand back and say, "calm down; calm down" just because the guy is white as this f--ing moron director is indicating. They would blast this dude into oblivion-- be they campus pigs or state pigs.
F--k you, John Singleton. Moron.
