Why?

Why did they make Jodie younger? And why aren't the twins there? I wonder this everytime I see this movie on tv. and Why did they change the last names? I always wonder why people change character's last names when they make books into movies. The movie was ok but it could've been a whole better GRR!!!! Sorry I had to get that out of my system.

I agree, books are normally better than the movie. And this movie isn't that great =\

It probably would have been better if it had been done by a different company or even as a theatre movie... but I suppose they didn't think they'd make any money on a movie made from a set of books? Oh well, we get what we get right? *sigh*

I thought there was something in either "Whatever happened to Janie" or in "The Voice on the Radio" where they said Hannah had been killed, though later it was discovered she wasn't because of some sort of misidentification or some faulty records from the cult or something. I haven't read the books in years though, so I could be misremembering but I thought that was in one of them, its in my mind that way for some reason.

I think that the simply haven't heard from Hannah. She was involved with a cult and the simply lost contact with her...but I too haven't read the books...especially the first ones in a while.

OKay, two things.
One: The things that really made me miffed were when they cut out the twins, and Stephan and Jodie going to New York to search for Hannah. (Okay, just had to vent)
Two: It said in What Janie found that Janie's dad had been sending money to Hannah. Cooney sort of left the book iin a cliffhanger because you don't know if it actually was Hannah, or the cult or someone pretdning to be hannah or something.
